The city of Portland – with its trendy eateries, varied attractions and eclectic seasonal events – is a destination equally well-suited to business and leisure travelers. The “City of Roses” is also a city of parks (37,000 acres!) and bikes (250 miles of bike lanes!).
A lovely day can be spent at the nearby Columbia River Gorge taking in spectacular views of over 70 waterfalls; or, visitors might choose to while away the hours exploring the wares of Sellwood District’s antique dealers, browsing used bookstores on Hawthorne Boulevard or sampling the offerings of Portland’s abundant pubs and craft breweries.
